DreamEaters have been invited to replace Ancient in the European Champions Cup, the organisers have announced.
The announcement follows the recent disbandment of Ancient, whose players decided to go their separate ways after losing motivation with Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora's departure to Ninjas in Pyjamas.
DreamEaters had experienced a mixed bag of results until recently, with the Russian side exceeding all expectations in the New Challengers Stage of the StarLadder Major, where they picked up unforeseen wins against NRG, Vitality and FORZE to progress to the New Legends Stage and break into the top 20 in the world rankings.

The Russian side will look to continue their hot streak of form in the European Champions Cup, which will be played from mid-September to November in a six-stage online tournament, with $60,000 and four spots at the LAN finals in Malta up for grabs.
